Millwall is obviously our real derby game. sadly think will lose some interest from younger fans unless we start to play them again.

Spurs is huge but for me so is Chelsea and Man Utd.

Spurs say our game means nothing until they lose and then get upset.

Saw there fans on tube at West Ham station last year giving it the large until they reached Upton Park station then absolute silence. Sums then up.

They couldnt even sell out there two league cup semis against the goons in 2007/8 .yet when then championship side west ham played them in the last 16 in 2003 it was banged out.typical spurs fans all wind piss and a massive whiff of lavender .

I don't care how they see us. The only thing that consoles me when we lose a match is if they lose on the same weekend. So playing them is always a 6-pointer.

Growing up in Ilford in the '60's, it was either West Ham or Spurs. If you gave the wrong answer at the primary school gate it could get painful.

After Millwall who are a distance in front of anyone i would go chelsea and man u before them. As has been said its a fairly modern thing.

the cunts have won 2 trophies in 25 years and they think they are bigger than us, fucking pricks.

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
The one good thing about being in the Championship was that we were the 'cup final' for every side. Teams that we have relegated or knocked out of playoffs etc over the years hate us with a passion. Some surprisingly brilliant atmospheres against Sheffield Utd, Cardiff, Reading, Palace, Ipswich, QPR, Brum etc as well as Millwall

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
For me it's only Millwall

I live in Tottenham country and to me all of their fans accept a few that go to any away games are mouthy pricks, the game itself is normally good because they rate themselves so much and do nothing.

It's a big game on the field for both clubs as both need a win, they for their so called aspirations of winning the league ag ag ag and us for climbing up the table rather than bottom 3...

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
I know people who support Spurs and I do not even mention the game and they come out with "I see your cup final against us is coming up". I then get the same shit about them not really caring and we are nothing to them blah blah blah.

One question i then respond with is "Why bring it up then?".

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
I genuinely met a spurs supporter a few years ago who said 'I don't really see Arsenal as our biggest rivals any more as they never do that well in the Champions League. We aim a bit higher than that so our biggest rival now is Chelsea'.

I blinked at him as I tried to compute what he was saying. This was the season after they'd won the League Cup.

He also said that he saw spurs as 'a mini Real Madrid'.

I really liked the bloke and we were always winding each other up and having a laugh so it took me a while to realise he wasn't joking. I was expecting him to go 'AAAAHHHH! Got ya!'

Never did though.

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
With Millwall there is a genuine back story of which both sets of support know about, add in them moving to the wrong side of the river and it was always going to be a bitter rivalry that Spurs could never live up to as it's not entirely about football.

To be fair their rivals are Arsenal. I don't see them as rivals I just can't stand the cunts. Even so Chelsea are worse and fucking Man Utd top both; hatred for them is wired into the dna of a lot of blokes of my generation.

All of them times a thousand don't come close to Millwall as 'rivals' for me.

If you look at their fantastic achievements over say the last 20 years there's no way we can really class ourselves as their rivals is there?

That's what they feel anyways.....

They write this every year, just to show how little they care.

Growing up in Ilford in the 80's, if you weren't a scouse glory boy, you either supported West Ham or Spurs (I only met one Arse and Chelsea fan at school). I am surrounded by the cunts even more so in Woodford so for me, Spurs top the list of rivals hands down.

Doing them in at their place the league and cup within a few weeks was a special time. I think they sat up and took notice of us since then and no longer see us as a walkover.

Yep, and any WHU fan worth their salt would have 'wall and Chelsea above Spurs.

Re: "Big game for West Ham, just another game for Spurs"
Spurs fucking hate West Ham because for years we were their equal rival whilst Arsenal fried bigger fish. They've been doing well of late and so now obviously see Chelsea and Arsenal as their biggest games. But at the end of the day they fucking hate us as much as hate them and every Spurs fan will tell you that.

Not sure what all that bollocks is about that West Ham won't accept we aren't there biggest rival. Everyone knows their biggest rival is Arsenal and I do not know one West Ham fan that would say different.

This is a big load of bollocks.
